We would like to inform you about new features that have been added to your GoSignMeUp online registration software program. If you are a technical support subscriber, you will be able to run your check for updates and receive these upgrades at no additional cost.

NEW FEATURES

Catalog Feature We have now added the ability for your users to view courses entered into GoSignMeUp via an online catalog. To activate this feature there are several steps that will need to be completed.

Log into your GoSignMeUp program as administrator and run the check for updates. This will need to be done several times to make sure all the files are uploaded.

Go to System Configuration and choose the first option “Catalog”. In red text you will see instructions that you or your IT department will need in order to install a new file on your server (if you host with us you will not need to complete this step). The file will be on your server in the GoSignMeUp folder. This installation needs to be completed before the Catalog option can be turned on.

Once the file is successfully installed on your server, you can then click "Yes" to show the catalog link on the public home page. In this area you can also add a welcome message in text or HTML for the catalog home page, and also upload a header graphic for the catalog. (If this is turned on before the installation of the new file, your program will show an error.) The catalog link will appear next to the calendar link on your home page.

Course Outlines Course outlines can now be added for classes entered into GoSignMeUp. To add an outline, login as administrator and go to System Configuration and choose Course Outline (under the Course Management area). If you choose you can turn on this feature and enter a course outline for classes in GoSignMeUp. This option will then appear when you add or edit a course. You will be able to choose from a pull down menu the outline you would like displayed with the course. All outlines can be added in the System Configuration area via text or HTML.

Instructor Photo Biography You can now add biographies and photos for your instructors. To access this new feature, log in as administrator and go to add or edit an instructor. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page where you can upload a 2”x3” JPEG picture of the instructor and enter the instructor’s biography in text or HTML.

NEW MODULE

LDAP Integration This new module will allow your users to authenticate into your existing Active Directory network and automatically be logged into the GoSignMeUp Online Registration Program as a user so they can complete registrations without a separate login.  This module will bring over fields of information from your Active Directory and populate fields in the student registration section of GoSignMeUp.  Since each Installation of Active Directory has different configurations, this module may need some tuning in order to operate in your environment.
